Working Principle
Utilizing the double regenerative technology, the honeycomb regenerative blocks are used to collect and store the heat generated during combustion, and then the stored heat is released for the melting of aluminum scraps. At the same time, in some furnaces, a graphite aluminum water circulation pump is employed. The molten aluminum in the heating chamber is pumped out and injected into the charging chamber to form a vortex. The vortex quickly sucks the aluminum scraps into the molten aluminum for melting, and the molten aluminum after melting flows back into the heating chamber.
Structural Design
It is composed of a heating chamber, a slag and ash removal chamber, and a side well chamber. The furnace body is made of special refractory materials, which can reduce the adhesion and erosion of aluminum slag. The furnace lining can effectively prevent expansion and contraction as well as heat diffusion caused by heating.
Performance Characteristics
• Energy-saving and High-efficiency: The double regenerative technology can significantly reduce the energy consumption per ton of aluminum. For example, the energy consumption of some furnaces is only 50-55 cubic meters of gas per ton of aluminum, which is 30%-50% more energy-saving compared with traditional aluminum melting furnaces.
• Good Melting Effect: It can form a vortex to quickly suck in and melt the aluminum scraps, with low oxidation and burning loss, effectively improving the quality of the molten aluminum.
